Here is a chart showing how the 2017 solar eclipse impacted our rooftop solar system. In our area, the eclipse was only partial with a peak of around 60% coverage at 2:30 pm. It started shortly after 1 pm and ended at 4 pm. As you can see in the chart there is a significant dip in power output during the event.
